North Atlantic Surgical Suites in Salem, NH is hiring a full-time Surgical Technologist to support our ambulatory center specializing in orthopedic surgeries. The role focuses on maintaining sterile field, preparing instruments, and aiding the surgical team throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a scrub technician program, and 1–2 years OR experience including orthopedics, plus CST and BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Certification Program.
• 1–2 years OR experience in operating room, including Orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Set up instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Prepare the patient for surgery.
• Pass surgeon instruments and sterile supplies during procedures.
• Count surgical sponges and sharps before the operation.
• Recount instruments and supplies at the end of the operation.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgery.
• Stock rooms and assist with daily tasks.
