Job summary

North Atlantic Surgical Suites, located in Salem, NH, is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist. The role emphasizes maintaining a sterile field and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

The ideal candidate has an OR background as a Scrub Tech, CST and BLS certifications, and a completion of a Scrub Technician program. Schedule features 10-hour shifts with no weekends or major holidays. A sign-on bonus up to $2,500 is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Certification Program required.
• 1–2 years OR experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties, including Ortho.
• CST and BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up instruments and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sterilize equipment and check inventory for surgeries.
• Prepare patient for surgery.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field throughout operations.
• Count surgical sponges and sharps before and after procedures.
• Stock rooms and assist with daily departmental tasks.
