Job summary

NYU Langone Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist for Essex Crossing OSC-Day Shift (37.5 hours). Under supervision of a licensed nurse, scrub on all surgical procedures in the OR and assist the physician in procedural areas.

Qualifications include high school diploma, NBSTSA-approved Surgical Technologist program completion, and certification upon hire. On-call coverage may be required. NYU Langone Health offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be graduate of NBSTSA accredited Surgical Technologist program and certified upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the OR under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assist physician in procedural areas.
• Maintain and prepare instruments and supplies per procedure card.
• Report unexpected events to RN staff and leadership in a timely manner.
• Provide on-call coverage where applicable.
