Job summary

Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver skilled perioperative care. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, assess patients, and support the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient OR environment.

The role requires an RN license, and an associates or bachelor's degree in nursing. BLS/ACLS or PALS are preferred, with CNOR and other certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in a critical care setting.
• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS/ACLS or PALS certifications preferred or required within 6 months depending on department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Monitor the surgery and surgical team from a broad perspective and assist to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient.
• Provide pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op care, including assessment and discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
