Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care. The role requires coordinating with the surgical team and providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, including discharge instructions.

The ideal candidate will hold an ADN or BSN, current RN licensure, and relevant certifications. A strong team focus and commitment to patient safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS, ACLS or PALS certifications preferred or required within 6 months depending on department.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and assist to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with other care providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care, including discharge instructions.
