Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at the Abington campus. This part-time role is 24 hours per week with a day shift, requiring completion of Periop 101 preferred.

As an OR nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused perioperative care, educate patients and families, and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices. Abington Memorial Hospital supports diverse, inclusive care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifikationen

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and cultural awareness.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with patients and families.
• Ability to document health information accurately and maintain records.
• BLS certification and RN license in PA.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Partner with patients and families to identify learning needs and educate them about care.
• Follow established nursing practices, protocols, and safety measures.
• Participate in inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Contribute to safety and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital setting.
