Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at the Abington campus. The role requires 24 hours per week during the day shift and values completion of Periop 101.

You will develop nursing plans of care with patients and care partners, address diverse needs, and ensure safety and quality in perioperative care. The ideal candidate holds a specialized nursing diploma and PA RN license, with preferred BSN and acute care RN experience.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and collaboration.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Effective communication with patients and families; appropriate delegation.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA).
