Jefferson Health in Abington is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to join our team on the Abington campus. The role covers a 24-hour-per-week schedule, daytime shifts, and completion of Periop 101 is preferred.

The RN will develop and implement perioperative nursing plans of care with patients and care partners, aligning with cultural beliefs and values. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, inter-professional collaboration, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma required from an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care principles and collaborating with patients and families.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams; appropriate delegation to team members.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning; ability to develop and implement nursing plans.

Responsibilities
