Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at the Abington campus. This part-time position covers 24 hours per week with a day shift. Completion of Perioperative 101 is preferred.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care, develop and execute nursing plans with patients and care partners, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Active PA RN license required and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of family-centered care and communication with patients and families.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of nursing assessment, care planning, and documentation.
• Ability to educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
