Mercy Health in Springfield, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to deliver high-quality perioperative care. The OR nurse will support the surgical team, perform initial assessments, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS or PALS preferred; two years of critical care experience and an OR internship are also preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• ACLS or PALS preferred; CNOR and SGNA preferred but not required.
• Two years RN experience in Critical Care preferred.
• Completion of OR internship program preferred.
• Successful Peri-op 101 training is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the patient.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with other care providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
