Job summary

Mercy Health’s operating room team seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality perioperative care. The role focuses on assessment, planning and delivering pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing services in a fast-paced OR environment.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with associated perioperative experience or internship completion, and participate in ongoing education and certifications. This full-time position is based in the Tiffin administration area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS, ACLS or PALS required (preferred at hire; obtain within 6 months).
• CNOR Certification preferred, not required.
• SGNA certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the surgical team.
