Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to handle bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other machinery on our large-scale civil projects. You will prepare areas, excavate, and move materials while coordinating with crews to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction experience.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Technical studies or prior experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
• Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders and other heavy equipment safely.
• Excavate trenches and prepare sites for utilities (water, drainage, sewer).
• Assist with installing piping for stormwater, water, and sewer systems.
• Follow all project safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors to ensure accurate task completion.
• Inspect and refuel equipment at the start of each shift and perform basic maintenance.
