Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to join our field crew. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, rollers, and dump trucks, preparing sites for large-scale, time-sensitive civil projects with precision and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires 1–2 years of construction experience, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A strong work ethic and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction experience.
• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Trade school or prior experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment/materials up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
• Excavate trenches for utility installation with precision.
• Assist crews in storm, water, and sewer pipe installation.
• Follow site safety protocols at all times.
• Coordinate with coworkers to ensure project specifications are met.
