Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our on-site crew. You will handle bulldozers, excavators, loaders, rollers and dump trucks to move materials and prepare sites for civil construction projects.

You will work with a team to complete tasks safely and efficiently, follow site procedures, and perform routine maintenance on equipment. A valid GED/high school diploma and 1–2 years of construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction experience.
• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Trade school or prior heavy equipment experience a plus.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment/materials up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers and other heavy equipment.
• Prepare and maneuver heavy equipment to move materials.
• Coordinate with crew to ensure projects are completed accurately.
• Comply with site safety rules and reporting procedures.
