Job summary

B&S Site Development is actively seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment on large civil projects. You will prepare work areas, trench for utilities, and assist crews to meet project specifications while adhering to strict safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in construction, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical study or prior experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment safely.
• Excavate trenches for underground utilities (water, storm, sewer).
• Assist with trench backfilling and piping installations.
• Follow project safety rules at all times.
• Move and place materials accurately with heavy equipment.
• Prepare work areas for construction, demolition, or excavation.
