Job summary

the company DevRel team is dedicated to building relationships with data practitioner communities to drive awareness and adoption of the Data + AI Platform and open source projects such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and Apache Iceberg. You will lead a team of Developer Advocates and collaborate with Apache and Linux Foundation ecosystems.

Expect to deliver talks, host panels and meetups, create blogs and videos, develop courseware, and mentor contributors while aligning

Qualifications

• 8+ years in developer relations or advocacy plus hands-on technical work.
• 2+ years of managing and growing a developer relations team.
• Proven open source track record and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own developer relations end-to-end for open source portfolio and define success metrics.
• Hire, level, and grow a team of Developer Advocates with clear career paths.
• Strengthen vendor-neutral standing with Apache and Linux Foundation ecosystems.
• Establish repeatable advocacy approaches and event playbooks.
• Grow external adoption and contributions across open source projects.
