Databricks is seeking a Developer Advocate Manager to lead the DevRel team and shape how our Data + AI Platform comes to life for a growing community of data engineers, analysts, scientists, and AI practitioners.

You will translate product roadmaps into developer-ready content, coach the team on a content flywheel, and drive awareness through talks, blogs, videos, and events at industry stages. A strong track record in DevRel and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in developer relations or hands-on technical role.
• 2+ years managing and growing a developer relations team.
• Have done the work: written posts, built demos, given talks, and engaged in forums.
• Ability to set and execute a developer relations strategy for a product area.
• Deep knowledge of solving data engineering, data science, and data analytics problems at scale.
• Understanding of the Databricks Data + AI Platform and ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own developer relations for the Databricks Platform end-to-end — set strategy and outcomes.
• Hire, level, and grow a team of Developer Advocates with clear paths forward.
• Establish repeatable advocacy approaches that others can adopt.
• Build storytellers who can scale through community rather than sheer volume.
• Represent the practitioner community inside R&D and turn friction into a roadmap.
