Qualifications

• BLS within 3 months (AHA) required.
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology or a Certificate in Surgical Technology required.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific operative/invasive procedures with timely accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are complete, functional and ready for use.
• Set up sterile field; scrub and assist as needed during procedures.
• Maintain organized back table and Mayo stand; anticipate surgeon needs.
• Collaborate with surgeon to adjust for case specifics and patient safety.
• Perform first scrub, first assist, second scrub, and second circulator activities.
• Close cases with dressing, transfer and turnover tasks.
