Qualifications

• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Associate degree or certificate in Surgical Technology is required.
• 1+ years of experience in surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with accurate, timely setup.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and suture are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub in prior to induction.
• Prepare back table and organize Mayo stand for smooth case flow.
• Anticipate case needs and provide appropriate equipment to avoid delays.
• Coordinate with surgeon and team to maintain focus on the operative field.
