Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support various operative procedures in our hospital setting. You will prepare the sterile field, assist surgeons, and maintain instrument readiness to ensure efficient case flow.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or a certificate in Surgical Technology and BLS certification within 3 months, with 1+ year of experience preferred. This role offers sign-on and relocation bonuses and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 3 months (AHA).
• Associate’s degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology.
• 1+ years of experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific operative procedures with timely, accurate setup.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and suture are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub prior to induction.
• Set up case so that back-up is ready for turnover and mayo work.
• Collaborate with surgical team to anticipate needs and adjust as necessary.
