Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support direct and indirect care in the operating room. You will assist the surgeon, prepare instruments, and maintain a sterile field to enable timely, safe procedures.

Candidates hold an associate degree or surgical technology certificate plus BLS certification. 1+ year of experience is preferred. This on-site role in New Hampshire offers sign-on and relocation bonuses and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required (American Heart Association) within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific operative/invasive procedures with timely accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and sutures are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub prior to induction.
• Run mayo stand and back table as needed and coordinate with circulating staff.
• Anticipate case needs and adjust supplies accordingly to minimize delays.
• Support first scrub/first assist, second scrub, and second circulator activities as required.
• Assist with case sequencing, dressing application, transfer and turnover.
• Communicate and collaborate with the surgical team to maintain workflow.

Education

Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology Or a Certificate in Surgical Technology
