Job summary

Career Team is hiring a WIOA Program Lead to coordinate assigned programs and manage services on site in Memphis, TN. You will implement policies, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and supervise program staff under the Program Director.

The role prioritizes customer service, performance analysis, and partner collaboration. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of supervisory experience, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/related field with 2–4 years of proven management skills.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of workforce development program operations preferred.
• Strong business knowledge of customer service and performance management; training/mentoring experience.
• Top-level project management, organizational, personnel, problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work with staff at all levels.
• Experience with workforce development contracts/programs.
• Valid driver’s license and adequate vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a quality management model for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Lead project staff to meet performance goals and ensure file reviews are thorough and compliant.
• Utilize the Tennessee VOS system to analyze and support performance activities.
• Address deficiencies and maintain partner relationships.
• Manage complaints with a goal of limited valid complaints per review period.
• Understand and influence program performance goals and procedures.
• Develop teamwork strategies and identify staff training needs.
• Direct, supervise, hire/promote employees and provide coaching/evaluations.
• Model exceptional customer service in all interactions; maintain a proactive service mindset.
