Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver on-site and remote end-user support in a fast-paced environment. You will troubleshoot Windows 10/11, manage user accounts in AD, and handle hardware imaging and deployments on desktops and laptops.

You will resolve hardware, software, and network issues, support printers and mobile devices, and document steps in a ticketing system while providing excellent customer service on the factory floor and warehouse environments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware and troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Active Directory user accounts and permissions.
• Networking basics including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and wireless.
• Experience with printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
• Ability to work independently in manufacturing/warehouse settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, and end-user tech.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 OS issues and perform imaging/deployment.
• Configure hardware, install software, and manage assets.
• Administer users in Active Directory; handle passwords and group membership.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and application issues; escalate when needed.
• Support printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless connectivity.
• Document troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system.
• Deliver strong customer service across manufacturing/warehouse environments.
