Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking an On-Site Service Specialist Level 1 at large customer locations.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions including VMI and vending, and support procurement and inventory control onsite in Terre Haute, IN. You will log activities in Salesforce, maintain stock levels, and collaborate with account teams to drive solution retention and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in telephone sales, outside sales, storeroom/inventory management, or customer service.
• Knowledge of MSC solutions and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions, including VMI, vending, and storeroom programs.
• Perform ordering, product put-away, and inventory optimization.
• Promote MSC loyalty through solution support and CARE program execution.
• Log daily activities in Salesforce and maintain up-to-date inventory records.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure solution retention and satisfaction.
