Job summary

Cox Automotive – USA is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to support car intake, labeling, tracking, and check-in at our Cox location. This role requires accurate data entry, filing, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers an hourly base pay range of $18.17–$27.21, with potential additional compensation and incentive programs. Day shifts and no remote work are available for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld device for each vehicle received at the Auction.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Associate Tracker device to WO# and install on OBD port or strap 2nd generation tracker around steering wheel.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone and report transport damage as needed.
• Take digital image of vehicle upon receipt.
• Provide sale identification windshield code to the driver at registration/check-in.
• Follow safety procedures and support Safety Excellence initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
