Job summary

Cox Automotive USA is hiring for a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I within the Vehicle Operations group. This on-site role requires basic education and up to 2 years of experience, with a focus on data entry, safety, and vehicle processing.

The position operates Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday shifts, at an hourly base pay range of $15.10–$22.69, and may include additional compensation per company programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
• Safe driver's license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Preferred: strong technical understanding with good organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instruction.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Input vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld terminal or provide information via headset for data entry for each vehicle received at the Auction.
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Flag “no key” cars.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Take digital images of vehicles upon receipt.
• Provide proper sale identification windshield code to the driver.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures.
• Support Safety Excellence by cooperating with safety leadership.
• Assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes and other duties as assigned.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
