Job summary

System One Clinical & Science in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Technical Trainer & Instructional Designer on a contract basis. You will own the end-to-end learning lifecycle across product development, creating e-learning modules, lab guides, SOPs, and quick-reference materials, and delivering onboarding, coaching, and workshops onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Direct experience designing and delivering technical training for adult learners.
• Familiarity with tissue-based assays/products or diagnostic instrumentation.
• Ability to collaborate with SMEs to extract and synthesize complex workflows into instructional content.
• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Camtasia and with MS Office and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Design, author, and update technical training modules, e-learning courses, and hands-on lab exercises.
• Translate complex lab concepts into structured learning paths for technical audiences.
• Develop multimedia assets using industry-standard authoring platforms (Articulate 360, Camtasia).
• Deliver onboarding, coaching, and interactive workshops to accelerate time-to-productivity.
• Manage LMS assets and track completion, assessments, and compliance.
