Job summary

System One in Vienna, VA is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to provide hands-on IT hardware and desktop support, imaging and deploying laptops for onboarding, and to work on-site at headquarters five days a week.

The role includes troubleshooting hardware/software issues, assisting with RMAs, asset recovery, software installs, and VM tasks, with a strong emphasis on clear daily status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of desktop/technical support experience.
• Experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide daily updates and status reports.
• Proficiency in imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting laptops and desktops.
• Ability to support hardware and software troubleshooting end-to-end.
• Comfortable working onsite at headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktop and hardware issues, including imaging and deploying laptops and desktops for onboarding
• Support break/fix hardware troubleshooting and repair, managing issues from start to finish
• Test and validate returned devices through the return merchandise authorization (RMA) process
• Manage IT asset recovery efforts through return and offboarding tickets, including device scanning in and out
• Fulfill software installation, updates, and troubleshooting requests
• Support virtual environment tasks such as VM requests and related issues
• Work on-site at headquarters five days a week, ensuring timely and effective technical support
