Job summary

Bailey Information Technology Consultants, LLC is seeking a Field/On-Site Support Lead to cover multiple Danville, VA locations. The role requires rapid on-site response, desktop deployment, and hands-on hardware support at housing, elder-care, and community sites.

You will work with the MSP team to resolve onsite issues, manage asset inventory, handle MAC tasks, and ensure secure decommissioning when needed. A valid driver's license and willingness to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on desktop/laptop hardware support, deployment and break/fix experience.
• Working knowledge of network printing and basic network equipment to triage on-site issues.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for multi-site travel.
• Strong customer-service orientation and professional interaction with residents and non-technical staff.
• Willingness to complete a standard background check prior to placement.

Responsibilities

• Deploy on-site within 1 hour of dispatch to multiple Danville locations to resolve issues not solvable remotely.
• Deliver and set up desktops and/or laptops on-site for new hires, refreshes, and replacements.
• Provide hands-on hardware support including maintenance, repair, and provisioning of new equipment.
• Support printers, copiers, and scanners and address network-printing issues at each site.
• Execute MAC moves, adds, changes and relocate equipment as directed.
• Maintain hardware/asset inventory and flag warranty or service issues to the appropriate coordinator.
• Support lifecycle management of hardware, including end-of-life and secure disposal.
• Assist with on-site onboarding/offboarding tasks, badge access and equipment retrieval.
• Coordinate with Help Desk Manager and Dispatch to prioritize and close tickets within SLA.
