Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support while growing the local client base and building long-term relationships in your community.

The role emphasizes advisory services, customer-focused execution, and active participation in local marketing with a strong emphasis on delivering accessible tax guidance in everyday language.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/location, Sunday–Saturday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local/online social presence as a TurboTax Expert per Intuit policies.
• English/Spanish bilingual communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax locally, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and completion of tax returns, from simple to complex scenarios using TurboTax.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and genuine client care.
• Utilize government resources, professional tools, and team knowledge to deliver accurate tax solutions in clear everyday language.
