Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Retail Experts to provide in-person tax preparation, advice, and software support at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will grow the local client base, deliver personalized tax solutions, and engage the community as a trusted tax advisor.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, customer-first service, and the ability to handle a range of tax scenarios while promoting TurboTax products and services.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize government sites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Interact with customers both in-person and through TurboTax's video communication tools.
