Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and work with a broader team of specialists to deliver end-to-end services for personal and small business clients.

This on-site role emphasizes local community outreach, client growth, and building long-term relationships while leveraging Intuit resources and marketing support to help customers navigate

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required.
• Minimum 3 years filing 1040 returns with professional software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services.
• Onsite TurboTax office role; 20 hours/week minimum.
• Training and development as required by the business.
• Uniforms provided; name/picture use for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online TurboTax presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations (personal and business income, deductions and amendments).
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize refunds and future planning.
• Grow local client base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Collaborate with Intuit ecosystem services (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build long-term relationships.
