Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and connect clients with a broader team offering bookkeeping, payroll, and planning services.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan for the future.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a local client base and build relationships with prospects through outreach and events.
• Develop understanding of clients' complete financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, both in-person and via video tools, addressing inquiries and challenges.
