Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team in U.S. TurboTax locations.

You will provide full‑service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support for in‑person and virtual clients, serving as a trusted advisor in your community. You will also grow the local TurboTax client base, build long‑term relationships, and connect clients with complementary Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, delivering

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations, including personal and business income, deductions optimization, and amendments.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build relationships with clients to turn one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and guidance across in-person and virtual interactions.
