Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers in on-site locations nationwide. You will perform in-person tax preparation, provide tax advice, and help clients navigate complex tax situations while building lasting relationships in the local community.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll grow the TurboTax presence, leverage marketing resources, and deliver clear explanations in everyday language. A strong tax background and a passion for helping people thrive are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally and act as a public face in the community.
• Engage prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing efforts and make taxes approachable for customers.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax customers, from simple to complex.
• Conduct tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer planning guidance.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources and professional tools in clear, everyday language.
• Create outstanding customer experiences and build long-term client relationships.
