Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will work with personal and business tax scenarios, collaborate with a team of specialists, and help grow the local client base.

You will engage customers in person and via Intuit tools, guiding them to appropriate services and resources while delivering a seamless end-to-end TurboTax experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040s per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Mon-Fri, for at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, growing the local client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with additional Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with in-person and video-enabled interactions.
