Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will interact with customers in-person, provide tax expertise, and support TurboTax product use while helping clients achieve positive financial outcomes. As a local ambassador, you’ll grow your client base, build long-term relationships, and participate in community marketing efforts, all while maintaining a front-facing retail presence and adhering to Intuit

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, min 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: represent TurboTax locally as a fixture and public face.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate with TurboTax in local marketing to make taxes accessible.
• Provide Tax Expertise: give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Utilize government sites, professional tools, and team expertise for accurate solutions.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: professionalism and genuine care for clients.
• Build long-term trust and repeat business; interact in-person and via Intuit tools.
• Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax-related challenges.
