Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to clients in-person, building lasting client relationships and driving local growth.

Ideal candidates have active tax licenses (EA/CPA/Attorne,y PTIN) and 3+ years of 1040 experience, with willingness to work 20+ hours/week in a front-facing retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Lead local marketing efforts and grow the client base in the community.
• Provide exceptional customer experience and build long-term relationships.
• Engage with customers on-site and via TurboTax video tools.
