Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a local TurboTax location. You will engage with both in-person and virtual clients, delivering end-to-end tax solutions while expanding the client base through community outreach.

You will partner with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to tailor services to each customer’s unique financial picture, ensuring a seamless Intuit experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate deductions, minimise tax liabilities, maximise refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Grow TurboTax client base through local outreach and community events.
