Job summary

Intuit is hiring a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice, while growing your local client base and connecting clients to Intuit’s broader services.

You will collaborate with a team of tax and advisory specialists to deliver end-to-end service, from personal returns to complex business scenarios. Strong communication and community engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold EA/CPA or be a Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week minimum.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a local ambassador to grow the TurboTax client base and foster community relationships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and address client inquiries in person and via video tools.
• Build long-term client trust and ensure ongoing year-round support.
