Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team in one of our U.S. TurboTax locations, serving in-person and virtual clients with tax expertise and community engagement.

As a Local Service Expert, you will provide hands-on tax preparation, connect clients with Intuit services, grow the local client base, and deliver a seamless end-to-end TurboTax experience while working onsite during standard hours and leveraging marketing support and resources.

Qualifications

• Must be EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office location 20+ hours/week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
• Must complete required training and wear Intuit uniform.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and advise on future planning.
• Grow local client base through outreach, referrals, and community events.
• Coordinate with broader Intuit team for advisory services and cross-sell.
• Deliver a best-in-class client experience in-person and via video tools.
