Job summary

Intuit is hiring a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide tax expertise and hands‑on preparation for clients at a local TurboTax location. You will engage with both in‑person and virtual customers, guide them through complex tax situations, and connect them with the broader Intuit advisory ecosystem.

You will grow the local client base, organize community events, and partner with marketing to maximize awareness while ensuring a seamless end‑to‑end experience for every client.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes required by law.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass‑roots marketing, and community events.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory teams to deliver end‑to‑end client service.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in person and via video tools, addressing client questions and tax challenges.
