Job summary

Intuit seeks motivated individuals to join as TurboTax Local Service Experts at locations nationwide. You will perform on-site tax return preparation, deliver expert advice, and connect clients with Intuit’s broader ecosystem for end-to-end service.

You’ll grow a local client base, host events, and collaborate with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning teams to support customers year-round.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation knowledge.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete training and wear Intuit uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Identify deductions, minimize taxes, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning.
• Build local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, and community partnerships.
• Coordinate with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning teams to address client needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in person and via video tools.
