Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team, delivering on-site tax preparation and expert advice at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will support clients with personal and business tax needs, while collaborating with a broader team to provide end-to-end Intuit services and year-round financial guidance.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development; may include cross-training of products.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms; may use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; create tax tips/resources for community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients; handle simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally; attract new clients and build loyalty with community outreach.
• Integrate tax engagements with advisory services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and guide clients through year-round support from Intuit resources.
