Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at TurboTax locations in the United States.

You will work with clients in person and virtually, growing a local client base while leveraging the full Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services. Onsite presence and strong communication skills are essential for guiding customers through complex tax scenarios.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training and cross-training.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising with your name and picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content for the community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, growing local client base and organizing community events with TurboTax marketing support.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by linking clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships by understanding each client's financial picture and fostering long-term trust.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with in-person and virtual interactions.
