Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized tax advice at a TurboTax location.

You will engage with in-person and virtual clients, guiding them through complex tax situations while maintaining a strong local presence. You will collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver end-to-end solutions, fostering long-term client relationships and trust in the Intuit ecosystem.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience and strong knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN to file taxes is required by law.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating tax content for the community.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a local customer base for TurboTax.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
