Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert tax advice, and software support while collaborating with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end service. You will also play a pivotal role in growing the local TurboTax client base, building relationships, and representing Intuit in the community through events and partnerships.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, and maximize refunds.
• Develop deep understanding of clients' financial pictures and connect them with Intuit solutions.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and virtually.
