Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States, serving both in-person and virtual clients. You will deliver comprehensive tax preparation, connect clients to Intuit services, and grow a local client base while upholding a high standard of customer care.

You will collaborate with a team of tax professionals and leverage Intuit tools to provide accurate tax solutions, planning guidance, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and represent the brand
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - establish long-term trust and recurring client engagements.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional, helpful service in person or via video tools.
