Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States, delivering hands-on tax preparation and customer care. You’ll grow the local client base, provide personalized tax guidance, and engage with the community through local marketing initiatives.

Ideal candidates have active tax credentials (EA/CPA), 3+ years of filing experience, and are comfortable in a front-facing retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador representing TurboTax locally and as a public face in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate with TurboTax in local marketing to make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions in clear language.
