Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support in person while growing the local client base and fostering long-term relationships.

Ideal candidates hold an active EA/CPA/attorney license, have at least 3 years of paid tax filing experience, and are comfortable working in a front-facing retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license required.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain relevant State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite work at TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week; weekends possible.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers, including simple to complex cases.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
• Deliver a strong customer experience and assist with tax planning.
